Version 3.3.0
By popular request, it now stores four envelope return addresses.
Pressing the D key (Dial) from the Index or View window will let you enter and dial a phone number. If you wish to create a new record with this number, click the "Dial then add New Record" button and the New Record window will open with the number entered. The call will be logged with the comment "Direct Dial" following the number. As with any other logged call, you can press N to add notes to the log.
"Work with Fax Modem" in the "Dial Setup" dialog will close the Driver after each number is dialed. This makes the modem dialing slower as the port has to be reinitialized each time a number is dialed.
The Modem initialization speed is now selectable in the "Dial Setup". The "Compatible" setting has a total 5 seconds in delays between port initialization, modem initialization and the number being dialed as required by many makes of modems. The "Fast" setting reduces the total delay to 1 second and works flawlessly with my Hayes modems and the PocketBook internal modem.
If your modem supports the S11 register and your telephone company can handle it, add "S11=50" to the modem string to make the modem zip through the tone dialing.
